12th ANNUAL FUN RUN IN AID OF THE MIDLANDS AIR AMBULANCE

ARRANGEMENTS ON THE DAY

On the day, registration opens at 10.30am in the Telford Town Park marquee above the QE2 Arena.

The run, will be started by the Mayor of Telford & Wrekin at around 12 noon after a fun limbering up routine with Jo Burt, fitness instructor at 11,40am. Those taking part can opt for either the 1.5km or the 4.5km route.

There will be a raffle for all entrants after the run. Each adult participant will receive a free ticket at registration and further tickets will be available for purchase.

Car parking is available in Dark Lane (off Hinkshay Road & Finger Road, Dawley) or Telford Town Centre. Charges may apply. Pedestrian access to the Town Park is from Southwater, The Ice Rink or via the International Centre road.

If you have registered in advance, please bring your tickets with you either printed or on your ‘phone. Registration will be available on the day in return for a donation of £20 to Midlands Air Ambulance.

Please also bring your sponsor form, plus any cash collected. If you are able to convert your sponsored cash into a cheque that would be helpful but cash will be accepted.

We require all sponsor money not collected by the 2 December, to be paid in by Wednesday 31 January 2019 at the latest please. Post or hand in to the address shown below. Or if you prefer to pay on line just email Colin Thompson (cthompson@bcs.org.uk) and he will send you a PayPal invoice.

Please note that any children entering free under the age of 16, must be accompanied by an appropriate registered adult and will not be registered unless they are.

Please try and come early to book in, as it helps us keep the fun run on time. Please wear suitable footwear whether running, jogging or walking plus suitable warm clothing for the climate on the day along with your own fancy dress. NO military uniforms please !
