This was the 10th year that the friends have organised the Fun Run and this year we have a new Charity partner – The Midlands Air Ambulance. We also changed the format from a purely Santa run to a more general Christmas-themed fancy dress fun run. It was very clear that those taking part enjoyed the event and that the new charity partner was a popular choice. It will be a while before we have a final total for sponsorship and donations but the figure is already over £2000. 
Our thanks to everyone who supported the fun run – the runners who took part, local businesses that provided sponsorship and donated raffle prizes, the Mayor and the staff of Telford and Wrekin Council and members and friends who helped with the running of the event on the day. Thanks too to everyone at Midland Air Ambulance – particularly to Maria Jones the Community Fundraising manager and to their Ambassador Dave Healey who took part in the run.. We hope to be back again with the 11th Fun Run in December 2017 and in the meantime we wish everyone a very good Christmas and a happy New Year.
