Recently the Friends have had a tidy up at the Crannog site at Grange Pool in readiness for the spring and summer. This popular bird watching site will soon be bursting with leaf and is an ideal place to sit and watch the wonderful biodiversity we have in our park.
This will hopefully be springing into life soon. If you spot any unusual birds there please let us know. Heron, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen, Reed Warbler, Robin, Blackbird, Jay, Thrush, Tree Creeper are all fairly common sights.
If you would like to assist the Friends in their conservation work around the park please get in touch via our contact page. The next meeting of the Friends group can be found on the NEWS page.
