The Friends of Telford town Park took an active part in the nation-wide “Clean for the Queen” campaign in March. Members of the Friends, ably supported by 3 volunteers from the telford office of RSM Tax and Accounting Ltd, collected 30 bags of rubbish mainly from around Blue Pool and Dark Lane. The weather was fairly kind to us (just) and the group enjoyed the activity – but it would be really nice if someone could now start a “Keep it clean for the Queen” campaign so that we can enjoy the park, and the countryside generally, without the rubbish! In the meantime, thanks guys and well done.
